    Position at A Child's World Developmental Centers
    A Child's World in Langhorne, PAis a licensed childcare facility center seekingaPK Counts Lead Teacher!
    This position is working with children in the Pre-K room. 
    To be QUALIFIEDfor this position,we require a minimumof a BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or PK-4.
    Instructional 1 or 2 in ECE or PK preferred.Teaching experience required and the ability to pass all background checks.
    Required Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pmCompensation: $45,000/annually.Pro-rated over the ten-month school year.

    Main Job Responsibilities: 
    • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.  
    • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.  
    • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. 
    • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.  
    • Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May. 
    • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. 
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role. 
    • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
