As a Before & After School Counselor, you'll be a positive role model, helping children build friendships, explore new interests, stay active, and feel supported every day. Whether you're leading a game, helping with homework, or simply making a child smile, you'll make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Lead and participate in games, arts & crafts, STEM activities, outdoor play, homework help, and group activities
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
• Supervise children while following NYS OCFS health and safety regulations
• Support the Site Leader with daily program activities
• Be a positive role model by demonstrating kindness, respect, and enthusiasm

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently working toward one)
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and a passion for working with kids
