About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and caring Childcare Van Driver to join our team in Philadelphia, PA! Responsibilities:
Safely transport children to and from childcare facilities, schools, and designated pick-up/drop-off locations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition
Maintain accurate attendance records and passenger logs for each route
Supervise and assist children during boarding and exiting the vehicle
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company transportation policies
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and childcare staff regarding schedules or concerns
Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked with safety equipment
Requirements:
Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record
CDL or passenger endorsement preferred but not always required
Previous experience driving children or in a childcare/transportation setting is a plus
Must pass a background check and child abuse clearances as required by PA state law
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Patient, responsible, and nurturing demeanor with children
Strong punctuality and time management skills
