Children, Family and Adult Services (CFAS) Caseworker

As an Eagle County CFAS Caseworker, youll be responsible for protecting children and youth from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Salary: $69,118-$82,941. The maximum pay for this position is $96,765.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5pm, with some after-hours meetings as needed to meet with clients. Flexible work arrangement after 6 months is possible. Some on-call work is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, document case notes, and report findings accurately and professionally.
• Develop and implement plans to promote child safety and family stability.
• Connect clients with essential services and resources.
• Respond to after-hours safety concerns as part of a team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of child welfare best practices and regulations.
• Complete annual training provided by the Colorado Department of Human Services.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree with a major in a human behavioral science field is required. A master's degree in the human behavioral science field is preferred.
• Minimum Work Experience: Two years of related professional experience. Or the equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities required to meet qualifications.
• Completion of all annually required training and professional development in order to uphold CDHS Caseworker certification.
• Must possess a valid Colorado drivers license, a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to pass a background investigation.
