Fireplace & Chimney Authority is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. No experience is necessary—we provide paid, hands-on training.


What You’ll Do

• Assist chimney sweep and fireplace installation teams
• Prepare and maintain work vehicles
• Organize tools and set up and break down job sites
• Mix mortar and move brick, stone, and other materials
• Work on ladders, roofs, scaffolding, and varying roof pitches
• Train directly with experienced chimney professionals
• Study for CSIA certification
• Work toward independently running a service route

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Illinois driver’s license
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and at varying heights
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to learn and perform physical, hands-on work

Pay

• Starting pay of $22.00 per hour
• Pay increases to $25.00 per hour upon becoming CSIA certified
