Schebler Chimney Systems is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to grow our presence in the critical infrastructure market, including data centers, standby power, and other mission-critical facilities. This is a remote, field-based role for a technical sales professional who enjoys building a market, getting products specified early, and winning long-cycle projects.Location: Candidates must be based in one of the following states: Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston preferred), Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio (excluding Cleveland and Columbus), Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, or Oregon.You'll play a key role in expanding where Schebler goes next, working with the engineers, contractors, developers, and operators who design and build critical facilities.What You'll Be DoingIn this role, you'll:Develop and execute a growth plan for the critical infrastructure and data center marketIdentify and pursue new business through cold outreach, networking, and industry engagementBuild relationships with consulting and design engineers, EPC and general contractors, developers, and operatorsEngage early in the design phase to position Schebler products as basis of designSupport engine, generator, and standby power exhaust applicationsManage national and multi-site accounts, coordinating with our regional Strategic Account ManagersBuild and manage an active pipeline of leads, quotes, project stages, and expected close datesPartner with engineering on technical discussions, product applications, and solutionsTrack market, competitor, and construction activity to spot new opportunitiesRepresent Schebler at trade shows, industry events, and customer training sessionsWhat Success Looks LikeHitting revenue and margin targets for the critical infrastructure marketA healthy, growing pipeline with consistent opportunity flowMore early-stage specifications with consulting engineers and decision-makersA stronger Schebler presence in mission-critical constructionWhat We're Looking For5–10 years of outside sales, technical sales, or business development experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or a related industryExperience selling into data centers, mission-critical facilities, standby power, or other critical infrastructure markets strongly preferredExperience calling on consulting engineers, EPC firms, or national accounts preferredExperience managing a national or multi-state territory and working remotely preferredAbility to manage long sales cycles with multiple decision-makersStrong mechanical and technical aptitude, with the ability to explain technical products to technical and non-technical audiencesBachelor's degree in business or engineering preferredAbility to travel up to 60%, including regular overnight and out-of-state travelTechnical SkillsStrong organization, planning, and time management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with AutoCAD Mechanical is a plusWhy Schebler?Schebler is 100% employee-owned.
