Role Summary/Purpose:

The employee in this role will have to be self-driven and manage their own time. The operator will be required to perform each of the tasks below in a safe and timely manner. This position will require assignments in multiple areas of the plant. Plating for washing operations, main floor for chip spin and deburring operations.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Operates Washing Machines in Plating Belt and Screw Wash
  • Organizes incoming wash material for plating/shipping preparation
  • Operates Chip/Spin/Spiro
  • Monitors Coolant and Oil Reclaim System
  • Operates Vibratory/debur equipment
  • Moves all parts in outgoing queues
  • Maintains housekeeping in area
  • Dumps full gaylords of chips in appropriate locations
  • Maintains numerical and written records
  • Performs frequent heavy lifting
  • Drives fork truck as required—moves material throughout shop floor
  • Complies with all LOTO training requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Replenishes empty box locations
  • Replenishes empty dolly locations

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Willingness and ability to obtain fork truck training/certification

 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Good safety, attendance and performance record
  • Able to interpret shop blueprints
  • Able to interpret MOSs
  • Able to do arithmetic and basic shop math
  • Use standard measuring instruments
  • Work with minimum supervision
  • Communicate effectively
  • Works well with others

 

Pay Rate is $ $18 - $22 per hour

 

***Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position***

 

* 3 Weeks of Vacation and 40 hours Sick/Personal Time available after 90-day probation period (Prorated through the year based on start date)     

* 8 Hour Shifts  6:30am - 2:30pm

* Paid Holidays – 11 Per Year
