SynapseTBI provides specialized diagnostic and treatment services for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), and Post-Concussion Syndrome. Our multidisciplinary team delivers advanced neurological care, innovative therapies, and coordinated treatment plans designed to support patients throughout their recovery journey.


Position Overview


We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Chiropractor to join our team in Houston, Texas. This position will play a key role in evaluating and treating patients with traumatic brain injuries, concussion-related symptoms, vestibular dysfunction, balance impairments, cervical spine injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate is passionate about neurological rehabilitation, committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and thrives in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.


Key Responsibilities


  •  Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans 
  •  Provide evidence-based chiropractic care, including manual therapy and spinal/extremity manipulation when clinically appropriate 
  •  Treat patients experiencing TBI, concussion, vestibular dysfunction, balance impairments, whiplash-associated disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions 
  •  Develop and implement customized rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs 
  •  Collaborate with neurologists, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care 
  •  Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely 
  •  Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations 
  •  Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate 
  •  Maintain compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards 
Qualifications


  • Active Texas Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) license preferred, or eligibility for Texas licensure
  •  Strong clinical assessment and manual treatment skills 
  •  Experience with neurological rehabilitation, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, sports medicine, or personal injury care is preferred but not required 
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team 
  •  Strong organizational and documentation skills 
  •  Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
