Choice+ Flex Program - RN

Choice + Flex is Northside Hospital's clinical career program that offers the flexibility of an agency with the growth and advantages of working for Northside. Choice+ Flex is a part-time program with a commitment of two shifts per week.

Responsibilities:

• The Registered Professional Nurse for Northside Hospital’s Choice+ Program independently plans and provides nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• The Choice+ Staff RN is required to work alongside the unit-specific teams to support them in providing care to all patients and families.
• The Northside Hospital Choice+ Staff RN manages the care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
• The practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications:

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

2. Applicants must have at least one (1) year of current experience in the clinical areas in which they will be working.

1. Must demonstrate and maintain competency in two specialty areas.
2. Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
3. 1. Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific.
4. Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies, and/or certification required as a condition of employment.
5. Must meet all Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) personnel qualifications and responsibilities requirements for individuals directing or performing non-waived point of care testing as stated in 42 CFR, Part 493, Subpart M.
6. Other REQUIRED RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
7. Must meet competency level requirements for the Choice+ Program.
