Location: Glen Hills Middle School
Position Summary:
The Glendale River Hills School District is seeking a Choir Teacher to work at Glen Hills Middle School with students in Grades 4-8. The Ideal candidate will be student-centered and have deep musical and teaching knowledge/skills. This teacher will work collaboratively with the rest of the music team to support programing, performances, and a continued tradition of musical excellence.
Candidates should have a desire and proven track record of nurturing students academically, socially, and emotionally in a classroom of diverse learners. Potential team members should have an unwavering commitment to growing diverse learners and be able to build classroom environments where all students assume the responsibility and ownership in their learning through setting goals, reflection, and self-assessment.
This position is ideal for a music educator who is passionate about inspiring curiosity, cultural awareness, and creativity through music in a collaborative and welcoming school environment.
The successful candidate will hold or be eligible for valid Wisconsin DPI certification:
#1511 Music - Choral or #5150 General Music K-6 and/or #1505 Music (Instrumental)
