Choper Operator

Job Description:

The Chopper Operator is responsible for keeping the roving choppers supplied with the correct amount and type of fiberglass to ensure continuous and efficient production.

Responsibilities include keeping the roving racks filled with the correct fiberglass material, completing splices promptly, keeping cutter heads clean and free of material buildup, and maintaining the chopper deck clean and free of debris.

Candidates must be able to read and write, work effectively as part of a team, distinguish between different types of fiberglass, and lift approximately 50 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The position is located inside a production facility that is not climate-controlled and may become warm during the summer.
