Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + [10.5% - 18% local supplement]

Position Purpose Chorus Teacher: Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students'' understanding and appreciation of music through vocal performance and choral study. To cultivate students'' vocal technique, musical artistry, and ensemble performance skills while fostering knowledge of music theory, music literacy, and a variety of musical genres, periods, and styles.

Minimum Degree Level: Bachelor''s Degree (click here for more info about Master''s pay) Alternative Licensed Pathways: If you are offered a position with BCS, our licensure specialist can share information on the 1-year Emergency License and later work with you to convert this to a Residency License. Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree
• 18 semester hours of relevant coursework
• 2.7 GPA (undergraduate coursework or post-graduate coursework)
• Ability to produce an official, degree dated transcript from an accredited university
• Former Lateral Entry license candidates are eligible to apply
