Position Title C&I Full-Time Faculty Support - Fall 2026 Description of GA Assignment GA: Faculty Support - Assist faculty, services may include tasks as supervising laboratories under their supervision; grading quizzes, homework, and other projects; and assist with other course and research related duties as assigned. Job Description Summary

The Faculty Support GA will work collaboratively with faculty to support teaching, scholarship, and program initiatives within the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Responsibilities may include serving as a teaching assistant, developing instructional and program resources, supporting student engagement, assisting with event planning, participating in research-related activities, and completing other duties as assigned. Adhere to Marshall University and the College of Education and Professional Development's professional expectations, FERPA requirements, confidentiality expectations, and communication practices.

Department Educational Doctoral Program - MU2840 Location MUGC - Marshall University South Charleston Semester Fall Semester Hours Per Week Full Time (20 hrs a week)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education

• Earned master's degree in education or a related field.
• Admission to and continued enrollment in the Education Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) major in Curriculum and Instruction.

Experience

Basic proficiency with computer applications and educational technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Completed course work or professional interests related to teaching, learning, assessment, or research.

Experience

Experience teaching in an education setting.
