Litigation Paralegal - Cincinnati, Ohio (Hybrid)

A national firm with an exceptional reputation is seeking to add an experienced Litigation Paralegal to its Cincinnati, Ohio office. This position offers a hybrid workschedule, providing flexibility while remaining engaged with a collaborative and respected legal team handling sophisticated civil defense matters.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range:$45,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience (DOE)

Litigation Practice Areas Include:

Civil defense litigation across a wide range of matters, including:

  • Products liability
  • Trucking and transportation
  • Automobile liability
  • Premises liability
  • Construction accidents
  • Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage
  • Personal injury
The Ideal Candidate:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with a desire to play a critical role on a collaborative legal team
  • Comfortable managing fast paced discovery, preparing cases for trial, and independently maintaining an active caseload

Job Duties May Include:

  • Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing documents, including medical, financial, tax, and employment records
  • Creating comprehensive medical and factual chronologies
  • Preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
  • Compiling and managing evidence from discovery materials, transcripts, records, libraries, and databases
  • Managing and organizing electronic and physical case files
  • Coordinating with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and support services
  • Generating status reports, logs, and case indexes
  • Drafting correspondence with clients and opposing law firms
  • Conducting legal and medical research, including review and analysis of expert materials
  • Communicating with experts and analyzing their qualifications, prior testimony, transcripts, and publications
  • Performing additional duties as needed to support the litigation team

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation and/or casualty paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree required
  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA
  • approved program preferred
