Required Qualifications
- good understanding of sanitation practices and principles, including manual and automated cleaning
- willing to work in a team environment as well as independently
- must have a demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- must have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
- must have the ability to climb ladders to access equipment
- willing to learn the manufacturing process such as process flows, dairy sciences, regulatory requirements, equipment, and control operation
- ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, etc.
- ability to work flexible days and hours
- must have basic mechanical ability
- basic computer, reading, and math skills
- good written and verbal communication skills
- ability to solve problems in the work area with little supervision
- ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissorlifts, etc.
