Position Overview

Vision IT is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CIPS, QA, Training – Quality Assurance Analyst to support mission-critical operations at Los Angeles Air Force Base. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting quality assurance initiatives, training development and delivery, compliance monitoring, and Continuous Improvement Process Support (CIPS) activities within a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in quality assurance processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with government and contractor personnel to ensure operational excellence and compliance with established standards.

(This Position is Contingent Upon Award)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with contractual, organizational, and DoD standards.
  • Support Continuous Improvement Process Support (CIPS) initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guidance documentation.
  • Monitor and track corrective actions, quality metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, program management, and government stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining quality management documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity and information assurance requirements.
  • Support inspections, assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire).
  • Current CompTIA Security+ (Sec+) Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Quality Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, training support, process improvement, or related technical support roles.
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal government programs.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, compliance standards, and process improvement practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Air Force or Space Force environments.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Experience with audit preparation and compliance reporting.
  • Additional cybersecurity or quality management certifications are a plus.
