Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Citizen Developer Jr. In this role, you will support the customization, configuration, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) to drive effective marketing campaigns and customer engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about low-code/no-code development and eager to grow their expertise in marketing automation and campaign management using Salesforce.

Location: Franklin, TN (On-Site)

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand campaign goals and translate them into Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Design and build low-code/no-code solutions using Flow Builder to automate marketing processes and customer journeys.
• Assist in configuring Marketing Cloud data extensions, email templates, and journey settings to support targeted customer outreach.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor campaign performance and customer engagement.
• Support the execution of multi-channel campaigns by integrating email, social, and other touchpoints within Marketing Cloud.
• Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements, including email rendering and workflow accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic Salesforce and Marketing Cloud issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Document processes, workflows, and solutions for knowledge sharing and scalability.

Required Education and Skills:

• Some college coursework or equivalent hands-on exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred; no degree required.
• No Salesforce certification required, but working knowledge of Marketing Cloud Engagement, Account Engagement, Flow Builder, and Data Cloud segmentation is expected from day one.
• Familiarity with AMPscript and SQL strongly preferred - used regularly for data extension queries, dynamic content, and segmentation logic.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with both marketing stakeholders and IT/dev teams.
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to translate business requirements into technical configurations.
