The City of Livingston is seeking applicants to fill one open seat on the City County Joint Airport Board. This is a volunteer position.

The City County Joint Airport Board was established in 1960 through a Joint Resolution between the Livingston City Commission and the Park County Commissioners. The five member Board oversees the operation and control of three publicly supported airports: Mission Field southeast of Livingston, Wilsall Airport, and Gardiner Airport.

Mission Field serves private pilots and small to intermediate sized aircraft. The Airport Board manages hangar rentals and a ground lease program that allows individuals to construct private hangars. Hangar rentals and ground leases are also available at the Gardiner Airport. The Wilsall Airport primarily supports agricultural operations and is home to the largest model airplane fly in event in Montana.

Board members help guide airport operations, policy decisions, and long term planning in coordination with City and County officials.

Meeting Schedule

The Airport Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Meeting locations vary between the Commissioner Chambers and Mission Field. Please check posted agendas for the confirmed location.
