Description

The City of Anaheim is seeking an exceptional and visionary executive to serve as its next City Manager during one of the most transformative periods in the Citys history. Reporting directly to the City Council, the City Manager will serve as the Citys chief executive officer and lead a full-service municipal organization while helping guide landmark initiatives such as DisneyForward, OCVibe, major infrastructure investments, and future economic development opportunities. The successful candidate will be a strategic, collaborative, and politically astute leader who can balance competing priorities, build strong relationships, inspire organizational excellence, and deliver meaningful results for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

RETIREMENT BENEFITS - The City contracts with the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) to provide retirement benefits. Retirement formula is based on appointment date and membership status with CalPERS.

Note: Pension contribution limitations are set by CalPERS each calendar year, with compensation limit requirements for Public Employee Pension Reform Act (PEPRA) members and Classic members. Employee contributions will be deposited into a 401(a) account after reaching this limit. Employees with CalPERS membership dates prior to July 1, 1996 are not impacted by these limits.
