Civil and Forest Engineering Technician Internship

This is a temporary full-time internship position running from May through September.
As the Civil and Forest Engineering Technician Intern, you will partner with the Umpqua National Forest to provide technical support for a wide variety of projects in timber management, restoration, transportation, recreation, and facilities. The intern will work with the Engineering group at the Umpqua National Forest on transportation and facilities projects. The Umpqua has developed a training plan to introduce interns to various aspects of civil engineering disciplines to provide a diverse experience.

PROJECT OVERVIEW: Engineers in the Forest Service provide technical support for a wide variety of projects in timber management, restoration, transportation, recreation, and facilities. The intern will work with the Engineering group at the Umpqua National Forest on transportation and facilities projects.
