Construction Project Coordinator
Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction and landscape development projects. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal field personnel. Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, change orders, and purchase orders. Support the preparation and submission of RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Track project schedules and proactively identify potential delays or issues. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance. Assist with project forecasting, reporting, and closeout documentation. Maintain accurate records and ensure all project files remain organized and up to date. Support permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project partners.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred. 1-5 years of project coordination, assistant project management, or construction management experience. Experience within landscape construction, civil construction, site development, or general contracting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project documentation. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with project management software such as Procore, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated team player with a proactive approach to problem solving. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey as needed.
