About the Opportunity

COMPANY is seeking a Civil Associate Engineering Technician to support Advanced Power Generation (APG) projects within the Power Providers market sector. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams on critical infrastructure projects that support today's and tomorrow's energy demands.

The ideal candidate will contribute to civil site development efforts including grading and drainage design, erosion control, roadways, fencing, and underground utilities while utilizing industry-leading design technologies.

Job Summary

As a Civil Associate Engineering Technician, you will support engineering teams by creating and maintaining high-quality engineering deliverables using digital design tools and drafting software. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in civil design, drafting, or engineering support who are looking to grow their technical expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams under general supervision
• 
  
• Create, update, and maintain technical drawings, documentation, and project deliverables
• 
  
• Utilize CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling software to support project development
• 
  
• Develop site development plans based on engineering design inputs
• 
  
• Perform material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
• 
  
• Coordinate deliverables with other engineering disciplines to minimize design conflicts
• 
  
• Apply company quality standards and document control procedures
• 
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
• 
  
• Maintain knowledge of applicable engineering standards, procedures, and technologies
• 
  
• Assist with evaluating and improving engineering methods and workflows
• 
  
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineering technicians as experience grows
• 
  
• Understand internal and external client needs while delivering accurate, high-quality work
• 
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  
• Green Card Holder or U.S. Citizen
• 
  
• Diploma or Certificate required
• 
  
• Minimum of 2 years of related drafting, design, engineering support, or technician experience
• 
  
• Experience working with engineering drawings and technical documentation
• 
  
• Proficiency with CAD and design software
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 
  
• Associate Degree in Drafting, Engineering Design Technology, or related field
• 
  
• Experience with:

  • Bentley MicroStation
  • 
    
  • Bentley OpenPlant Modeler
