My client provides Construction Management, Specialty Contracting, and General Contracting services to clients in the Commercial and Industrial markets. With self-perform profit areas across Concrete, Steel Erection, and PEMB Erection, this company employs specialists in those fields to oversee project sites. We are currently seeking an experienced Civil / Concrete Superintendent capable of managing the company's concrete packages for industrial clients. This will include primarily structural concrete and deep foundation work. Travel for this role is very limited when compared to roles of similar size and scope.

Job Description

• Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule
• Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
• Proactive approach to problem solving is necessary
• Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers, Foreman, and external stakeholders
• Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
• Maintain OSHA requirements
• Mentor less experienced construction professionals
• Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.

The Successful Applicant

• 7+ years of Commercial or Industrial Superintendent experience
• Background in or ability to manage self-perform concrete crews
• Basic knowledge of project management software
• A mature professional with excellent judgment.
• A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and intuitive interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keen attention to detail
