Job Description
My client is seeking an experienced field leader with 5+ years in heavy civil and/or bridge projects. You will lead daily jobsite operations, supervise crews, ensure safety, coordinate with inspectors, and make confident field decisions. Travel is required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years heavy civil or bridge construction experience
- Proven leadership managing crews and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of plans, specs, and field execution
- Committed to safety, quality, and efficient project delivery
Daily Responsibilities include but not limited to- Oversee all daily jobsite operations and direct field crews
- Plan and coordinate work activities, schedules, and subcontractors
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
- Monitor quality to ensure work meets project plans, specs, and regulations
- Communicate with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and crews
- Manage equipment, materials, and deliveries on-site
- Track daily production, manpower, and job progress
- Identify and solve problems quickly to keep projects on schedule
- Maintain daily reports and document any changes or delays
- Monitor productivity and help control project costs
