The Opportunity:

You will serve as a key operational leader overseeing large-scale civil construction and heavy site work projects throughout South Florida. This role allows you to drive project success by directing field crews, optimizing daily production, and utilizing top-tier equipment provided by an industry leader established in 1983. How You Will Make an Impact:

• Direct daily field operations for major earthwork, excavation, utility, stormwater, and paving projects.
• Supervise company crews and subcontractors to maintain high efficiency and safety standards on the job site.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data to guide accurate field execution.
• Coordinate daily manpower, heavy equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects moving forward smoothly.
• Conduct mandatory safety meetings and enforce strict OSHA compliance across all operational areas.
• Track daily production metrics and maintain thorough project documentation to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and engineers to resolve field obstacles promptly.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in civil construction, site development, or heavy earthwork.
• Proven expertise in earthwork, excavation, underground utilities (water/sewer/fire), stormwater drainage, concrete, and asphalt operations.
• Strong proficiency in reading, analyzing, and executing civil engineering plans, specifications, and survey data.
• Demonstrated leadership capability managing multi-disciplinary field crews and subcontractors effectively.
• Valid OSHA 10 or 30 certification required at the time of hire.
• Hands-on experience using construction management software such as Procore or HCSS Field.
• Valid driver's license 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• 10 or more years of hands-on civil construction supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with GPS machine control technology and field layout methods.
• Background overseeing projects for FDOT, local municipalities, or major commercial site developments.
