Bryant Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential criminal defense law firm. The attorney will be employed directly by the client law firm.
A confidential law firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal with strong white collar criminal defense, civil litigation, and federal + Florida state court experience. This role is ideal for a litigation-focused paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys meaningful client interaction, and wants to work with attorneys who value professionalism, precision, and proactive case management.
This full-time, hybrid position supports attorneys handling white collar criminal defense matters, complex civil litigation, and related federal and state cases. You'll play a key role in case preparation, discovery management, trial support, and client communication — all within a collaborative, growth-oriented legal team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Litigation Support & Document Preparation
- Draft, prepare, and revise litigation documents for white collar criminal defense and civil litigation, including: Motions to suppress, motions to dismiss, discovery demands, subpoenas, notices, complaints, answers, affirmative defenses, motions, discovery requests/responses
- Prepare pre-trial statements, witness lists, exhibit lists, proposed orders, chronologies, case summaries, and evidence logs
- Assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation: Summaries of depositions and discovery materials (police reports, body-cam footage, medical records, financial records, expert materials). Organize exhibits, trial binders, and digital/physical case files
- Utilize Clio for case management and LexisNexis for legal research
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate with clients to gather information, collect documents, and provide case updates
- Track deadlines, hearings, depositions, trial dates, and coordinate with investigators, experts, and vendors
- File documents with federal courts (Southern District of Florida, Middle District, etc.) and Florida state courts
- Coordinate service of process, witness scheduling, and case logistics
WHAT YOU BRING
- Florida Criminal and/or Civil Litigation Paralegal experience
- Federal court experience (required)
- Completion of an ABA‑approved paralegal program
- Strong command of legal research tools, Microsoft Office, and case management systems
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time‑management skills
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach
- Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment in sensitive matters
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
- Experience supporting attorneys through trial
- Familiarity with both state and federal court procedures
- Experience with Clio and LexisNexis
