Position Overview:

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Defense Attorney to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for a passionate legal professional who is eager to handle complex medical malpractice cases while benefiting from thw firm’s commitment to mentorship, professional development, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

 Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of defense cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with clients, medical experts, and other professionals to build strong cases.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in New York
- Minimum 3 years of experience in GL litigation.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with legal technology and case management software.
