Civil Engineer (EIT) to join their team of managers, engineers, and designers, representing the industry's top talent in
Houston, Texas.
Duties and responsibilities:
The position performs general civil engineering work under the direct supervision of a project manager for clients the company serves in various markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - The selected candidate will support the efforts of a Project Manager in team supervision and execution of various projects including:
- Site Engineering Design associated with buildings and parking
- Street improvement design
- Pavement rehabilitation
- Rough and precise grading plans
- Storm design and drainage calculations
- Potable and reclaimed waterlines design
- Sewer pipe design
- Flood control improvements
- Freeway and interchange improvements
- Specifications
- Utility coordination
- Permit processing
Qualifications:- Team leadership
- Additional software skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to prepare engineering reports with the guidance of a project manager or senior individual.
