Mentorship and training opportunities are offered throughout the year.Job Summary: Jones & Henry has an opening for a full time Civil Engineer that will begin their career in the field as a Resident Project Representative (RPR).The Details: The Resident Project Representative (RPR) observes and reviews assigned construction projects for compliance with engineering plans and specifications.Collect, maintain and organize construction documentationTravel to construction project sites to review worksite compliance with engineering plans and specificationsMaintain strong client relationships as a company's representative on the project siteMaintain strong relationships and communication with contractors and subcontractorsVerify design plan accuracy in the fieldConsult with Contractors and Engineers regarding construction practices, construction reports, and engineering designsReview changes in construction and materials specifications due to developments occurring during project construction with the Project Manager or Project EngineerThe Qualifications:Bachelors of Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum at a four-year college.Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures and principlesAbility to deal with abstract concepts during actual constructionAbility to understand and communicate technical specifications and literature with construction personnelAbility and experience in communicating technical matters relating to the project to the Project Manager and/or Contractors both orally and in writingOur people are incredible!
