If you're passionate about making a difference and looking for growth in an exciting field, we invite you to explore this role with us.ResponsibilitiesDevelop civil engineering plans and specifications for Energy and Land Development projects within a team of professionals.Perform fieldwork to collect data, record measurements, and capture site photos/videos.Analyze collected data.Draft plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Assist in preparing land entitlement and permitting documents.Develop reports presenting design calculations.Skills and AttributesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.Ability to perform engineering tasks in coordination with the project team, integrating design and developing deliverables.Strong computer skills, with experience or exposure to AutoCAD Civil3D preferred.Experience or exposure to stormwater design software such as PondPack, HydroCAD, StormCAD, AutoCAD S&S Analysis, or similar.Self-motivated with critical thinking skills and attention to detail.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.1-3+ years of land development/civil engineering internship or co-op experience.Prior land development design experience (erosion control, stormwater management, site grading) preferred.EIT certification preferred.About VHBWe're an innovative team of engineers, scientists, planners, and designers partnering with clients across transportation, real estate, institutional, energy industries, and government sectors.
