Civil Engineer

Location: Dubuque, IA (On site)

Salary: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Civil engineering experience.
• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer License (PE) within a year.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain clear and concise project records.
• Up to 10 years of civil engineering design experience is desirable.
• Iowa PE license or EIT certification, or the ability to obtain either within 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical engineering reports and project plans.
• Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians throughout construction phases.
• Assist Project Managers in keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
• Lead project proposals creation.
• Lead or participate in project teams for planning, design, and construction.
• Engage in client contact, including attending meetings.
• Manage projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
• Guide staff and use Civil3D for plan preparation.
