This role involves both office-based design work and field coordination to ensure projects are delivered successfully from concept through construction.Provide civil engineering services including design, preparation of plans/specifications, reports, budgets, scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates.Coordinate project activities with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution.Participate in client meetings, design discussions, pre-bid meetings, and construction coordination sessions.Maintain project documentation and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Conduct periodic site visits and provide construction observation to ensure adherence to design standards and specifications.Collaborate with construction teams to address technical issues and implement effective solutions.Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns in a timely manner.Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support continuous improvement.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.Professional Engineer (PE) license, or actively working toward licensure in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Iowa.Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow in a team-oriented environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience working on municipal, land development, or aviation projects.Interest in or familiarity with rural infrastructure projects and small-community challenges.Demonstrated ability to contribute to client relationships and deliver a positive project experience.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.BenefitsOur client offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support employees' financial well‑being, professional growth, and work‑life balance.
