As a Civil Engineer (Geotechnical) in the Omaha District, Geotechnical Engineering and Sciences Branch, you will serve as a senior specialist performing geotechnical and material studies for Civil, Military, and HTRW programs.
Responsibilities include performing and directing design studies and contract documents for projects such as airfields, heavy pavements, and HTRW initiatives.
You will lead or serve as a project engineer, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants through planning, design, reporting, and construction phases.
Additional duties involve preparing scopes of work, investigation plans, geotechnical analyses, reports, and specifications for geoenvironmental work, as well as supporting emergency management efforts like Flood Fight programs.
