Prepare
engineer's opinion of probable costs for designed projects and
specifications for public bids
Coordinate
tasks with other engineering and architectural departments within the firm
Communicate
directly with clients
Ensure
a high-quality, on-time, on budget, technical delivery of all project
requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or
closely related discipline
5+ years of experience
PE preferred
Site development/municipal engineering project
design experience
Thorough understanding of the entitlement
processes on Long Island
Knowledge of civil engineering principles and
practices of related technical areas
Familiar with the design of public
infrastructure/public bidding process
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
skills, Autoturn, Excel, and Photoshop
Salary is
commensurate with experience.
