A career with us is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best construction managers and civil engineers.The OpportunityWe are looking for a California Registered PE candidate, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. This is a position for a seasoned designer ready to move into a position of managing designs, projects, and project engineers. This position is based in our San Mateo office and offers a potential hybrid schedule, allowing work time to be divided between the office and home upon management approval.The ideal candidate for this opportunity can work independently with minimum supervision, has sound technical skills, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who is experienced in civil engineering design with some experience in project management.Responsibilities:Design of projectsAssistance with preparation of proposals and fee estimateDevelopment of work plans and schedulesAssisting in the management of projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clientsPerforming studies, calculations, designs and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standardsRequired Qualifications:BS Degree in Civil Engineering7+ years of demonstrated design with some project management experienceCalifornia PE LicenseProficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3DExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clientsWe offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
