  • Support the design of stormwater management systems, drainage, grading, and site development layouts.
  • Assist with civil design calculations and technical analyses related to land development, water resources, and transportation engineering.
  • Prepare design drawings, details, and supporting documentation for municipal and private projects.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Participate in municipal engineering work, including coordination with local municipalities and review of land development and infrastructure projects.
  • Support construction-related services such as construction inspection, construction management coordination, and field-related design clarifications, as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including preparation for EIT and PE licensure with guidance and mentoring from senior engineers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet project schedules and quality expectations.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Experience or strong interest in land development, municipal engineering, water resources, or transportation engineering.
  • Foundational knowledge of stormwater management, site development, drainage, grading, and general civil design principles.
  • Ability to perform civil engineering design tasks both independently and within a project team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality design work.
  • EIT or PE licensure preferred, depending on level of experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with municipal engineering projects and coordination with local municipalities.
  • Familiarity with transportation engineering design and standards.
  • Exposure to or interest in water and wastewater engineering and water resources projects.
  • Experience as a civil designer using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.
  • Interest in construction inspection, land surveying coordination, and construction management support.
  • Motivation to grow professionally, obtain licensure, and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to work from multiple office locations within the Greater Philadelphia area, including New Britain, Center Valley, Newtown, Philadelphia, or Plymouth Meeting.
