We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will support a variety of multi-disciplinary public and private projects, including transportation, utility, school, commercial, residential, renewable energy, and other site/land development efforts.You will assist in all phases of project design and delivery including preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and technical reports. Responsibilities also include site grading, drainage and utility design, erosion control, permitting, and agency coordination. You will track permitting requirements and schedules throughout each project and support construction administration through site visits, meetings, and inspections.Required Qualifications Registered Civil Engineer in the State of Oregon, or the ability to obtain registration within six monthsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or a combination of equivalent training and experienceMinimum of 4 years of relevant experienceProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong technical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a project teamEffective communication skills with internal teams, clients, and agency staffPreferred Qualifications Familiarity with design standards used by jurisdictions and agencies in the Portland metro and/or SW Washington areaUnderstanding of the land use entitlement processWashington PE licenseExperience using Vehicle Tracking, ArcGIS, and BluebeamCertified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL)Experience designing and implementing Low Impact Development (LID) features in both public and private projectsCompensation $85,000-$110,000+ depending on experience.
