You will be joining a global Ports and Harbors team of 500+ maritime specialists who support a wide range of maritime developments including container terminals, LNG facilities, waterfront developments, cruise and ferry terminals, marinas and harbors as well as coastal schemes such as beach development and coastal protection schemes.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Undertaking design activities on maritime projects - container terminals, mining/bulk, oil/gas, marinas, ports and harbors, coastal defense and development schemes.Civil design for terminals across the United States.Independently prepare engineering related calculations and develop civil technical specifications, plans, and details.Provides guidance to entry level engineers.Independently perform all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Professional Engineering (PE) LicenseValid Driver's license required.Preferred QualificationsMaster of Science in Civil Engineering or related field6+ years of Civil design experienceProficient in CAD and design software.Proficient in C3D/OpenRoadsExperience with Civil Engineering Plans, Specifications and Estimate development.Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.Experience in the design of marine terminalsEnthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and driveAdditional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship now or in the future.BenefitsAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
