Join an established, family-owned company as a Civil Engineer / Site Development Designer in Lockport, NY, where your design expertise will support commercial and industrial development projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer / Site Development Designer position include:
- 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, with strong land and site development design skills.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field preferred.
- Professional engineering license preferred, not required; candidates working toward licensure are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing engineering designs and drawings.
- Develop site designs for primarily commercial projects, including offices, restaurants, retail facilities, and car dealerships, along with some industrial projects.
- Work directly under the on-site Civil Engineer in a design-focused role with limited management responsibilities.
- Support site inspections, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance for engineering deliverables.
- Work fully in office Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; non-local candidates considered, with relocation assistance evaluated case by case.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation may be considered for a strong candidate.
