Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate to join our Civil Engineering team.
In this role, you will support the planning and design of civil infrastructure projects by assisting senior engineers with technical analysis, design development, and preparation of construction documents. This position offers the opportunity to build your technical foundation, gain hands-on project experience, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality solutions that positively impact the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for projects.
- May assist in client contact and communication and attends client meetings.
- Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, and tests in order to plan and design projects.
- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Accompanies Engineers to site visits as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested.
