Civil Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2027

Overview:

SSOE Group is seeking a Civil Engineering student to act as support for our Site-Civil Engineers in our Toledo, OH office. The position starts with administrative and clerical work as well as phone and internet research, with CAD drafting support for projects. Work progresses to elements of site, stormwater, and grading design available for capable candidates.

We are currently seeking an Civil Engineering Co-op - Sprng 2027.  This is a full-time Spring Co-op rotation onsite role requiring daily presence at our Toledo or Columbus, OH office.Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this position.

Responsibilities:

• CAD support for Civil design packages.
• Drawing package preparation and submittal.
• Minor design including site layout, grading, stormwater management and utilities.
• Permit preparation and follow up.

Qualifications:

• College student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Basic AutoCad experience required. Knowledge of Civil 3D a plus.
• Strong desire to learn with an interest in site development engineering design.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Teamwork focused.
• Salary Range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school
