Annual Salary$69,279 to $101,288The salary in the Los Angeles World Airports and the Harbor Department is $75,481 to $110,350.The salary in the Department of Water and Power is $89,136 to $110,726; $92,832 to $115,341; $94,795 to $117,763; $96,904 to $120,373.ResponsibilitiesA Civil Engineering Drafting Technician performs drafting using a Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) system and other tools in the preparation of engineering designs, plans, and maps.QualificationsCompletion of 12 semester units or 18 quarter units in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) and completion of one course in Geometry and Trigonometry from a high school, accredited college, university, trade or technical school; ORTwo years of full-time paid engineering drafting experience which includes one year of engineering drafting experience and one year of experience using a CADD system.Valid Class C driver's license issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
