This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to step into a highly visible leadership-track role within a growing Southern California team. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Civil Engineering) with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead complex land development projects throughout Southern California. This individual will oversee project delivery, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and play a key role in strategic growth initiatives.

This position offers a potential fast-track into senior leadership for someone who combines strong technical expertise with business development capabilities and team leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage land development projects from entitlement through construction.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, staffing, and client deliverables.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including planning, architecture, landscape architecture, and engineering.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and consultants.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and project teams.
  • Participate in business development efforts, client presentations, and proposal preparation.
  • Provide technical oversight for grading, drainage, utility, and site development design.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives within the Irvine office and broader Southern California market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Active California PE license required.
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development project management.
  • Strong background in commercial, mixed-use, multifamily, retail, healthcare, or institutional developments preferred.
  • Proven experience managing project financials, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
