Civil Engineering Project Manager
Location: Charleston, SC
Travel: ~20% locally
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead complex site development and infrastructure projects from concept through construction. This role combines technical engineering expertise with strong project leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Perform and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Manage vendors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure project compliance and quality
- Prepare technical documentation such as engineering reports, permit applications, and construction packages
- Provide engineering support during construction and field activities
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of civil engineering experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) for at least 3 years
- Experience managing complex industrial or civil projects
Preferences:
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu, Revit, or similar tools
- Client facing project management experience
