What You'll Own

  • Lead land development projects from initial concept through construction
  • Oversee site design, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and civil engineering plans
  • Manage permitting, zoning approvals, and regulatory coordination
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, municipalities, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Guide project teams and mentor developing engineers
  • Review technical plans, calculations, reports, and engineering deliverables
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and client expectations
  • Conduct site visits and field observations as needed

What Makes You a Strong Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 4+ years of site/civil or land development experience
  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater, and permitting
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage projects while maintaining quality and client satisfaction

Preferred Background

  • Civil 3D experience
  • HydroCAD experience
  • Technical writing experience
  • Previous project management or team leadership experience
  • Experience navigating New York/New Jersey land development processes

Compensation

$90,000–$180,000, based on experience, qualifications, and leadership background.
