Civil Engineering Project Manager (PE)

I'm partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm that's continuing to grow throughout Northern New Jersey. They have a strong backlog of work, an excellent reputation, and are looking for a Project Manager who wants to lead projects, mentor engineers, and continue building their career.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage land development projects from concept through construction
• Design and oversee grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and site development plans
• Coordinate zoning approvals and permitting
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Review plans, reports, and engineering calculations
• Coordinate with municipalities, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Perform site visits and field inspections as needed

What They're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 4+ years of site/civil or land development experience
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, and permitting
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Experience

• Civil 3D
• HydroCAD
• Technical writing
• Project management or team leadership

Compensation

$90,000–$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
