Civil Engineering Technician (Site Planning) - Paragon AssociatesParagon Associates is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician with strong site planning experience to support a variety of land development projects. This role will work closely with engineers and project leads to assist in design, plan preparation, and project coordination across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of site plans and construction drawings (grading, drainage, utilities)Support development of full plan sets for permitting and constructionContribute to site layout and land development design effortsAssist with drainage and stormwater management designSupport the permitting process , including documentation and coordination with municipalitiesCollaborate with engineers and project managers on project execution and timelinesWork on a variety of project types, including:Commercial and industrial developmentsHospitality projects (hotels)Residential and multi-family (including large-scale apartment developments)Infrastructure-related projects (e.g., sewer/water extensions, marina/flood studies)Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related fieldExperience with site development and land planningProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design softwareBasic understanding of grading, drainage, and utility designFamiliarity with permitting and municipal processes is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environmentAdditional Notes Ideal for candidates with a background in civil engineering technology or landscape architecture with site planning exposureOpportunity to gain hands‑on experience across diverse, real‑world development projectsStrong growth potential into project engineering or lead roles#J-18808-Ljbffr
