Civil Estimator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team in the Greater Pleasant Hill area. As a Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for civil construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Evaluate project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Utilize estimating software to generate proposals.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Estimator in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
