Civil Foreman

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Civil Foreman to join our Power Technologies department as part of the Thermal Power & HVDC division of Metlen, for the construction of a CCGT Power Plant based in Grudziadz, Poland.

Your role will encompass:

  • Coordinates tasks regarding the onsite operations
  • Collaborates with subcontractors rescheduling and work matters.
  • Quantity and quality receipt of on-site materials
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Identification of local resources, materials, services
  • Reports and works closely under the Site Manager.
  • Achieves project completion on time
  • Achieves project completion on budget on the part under site responsibility.
  • Achieves project completion on par with technical requirements.
  • Achieves minimum punch list remarks during acceptance.
  • Report project progress to superiors
  • Work closely with project managers and finance teams to track contract budgets, payments, and cost control.

What you bring to the role:

  • Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably as a Civil Foreman in energy/construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to relocate.
