Civil Land Development Engineer: Santa Ana, CA

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Civil Land Development Engineer to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This is an in-office opportunity for an engineer with 3+ years of civil land development experience who is looking to contribute to a variety of projects and grow with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have strong Civil 3D AutoCAD skills and experience supporting land development projects. Experience with commercial and industrial developments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop civil engineering plans, designs, and construction documents for land development projects
• Utilize Civil 3D AutoCAD for grading, drainage, utility, and site development plans
• Assist with site design, plan preparation, and project coordination
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, consultants, and reviewing agencies
• Support projects through design, permitting, and construction phases
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil land development engineering experience (flexible based on overall qualifications)
• Proficiency with Civil 3D AutoCAD is required
• Experience with commercial and/or industrial projects is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of site development, grading, drainage, and utility design
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Salary range: $80,000–$110,000
